The Decorative Fair
Goodness, January went fast! Just a few weeks ago I went to the Decorative Fair in Battersea Park. It is held three times a year and plays host to an array of antique dealers. As a designer I make a point of visiting each fair as its a feast for the eyes and each exhibitor beautifully curates their space.
I highly recommend visiting next time its on and below are a few of my favourite dealers:
A pair of lilac chairs from from Patricia Harvey
A stunning collection of white leather suitcases in various sizes from Nick Jones - www.ichabodheadless.com
I didn't get the dealers details on these items, but these images give an overall impression of the fair.
A pair of beautiful charcoal sketches in white frames from Maison Artefact - www.maisonartefact.com
M Charpentier is a treasure trove of antiques. I spotted these gorgeous table lamps with dark linen shades - www.mcharpentier.com
In contrast Zugasti is a 70's haven - www.zugasti.co.uk
I love this blue & white teaset from Clarke Pickett - www.clarkepickett.com
Monique Relander has a wonderful eye and everything she sources is gorgeous - www.monique-relander.be
Inspired by my friend Kirsty who is a baking goddess, I was drawn to the antique molds on Mike Chugg's stand. He also had a pair of beautiful framed pressed flowers.
Martin D. Johnson is one of my favourite suppliers and it is always worth checking out his website for new arrivals - www.martindjohnsonantiques.com
I also want to mention Puckhaber Decorative Antiques (ww.puckhaberdecorativeantiques.com) and C20C (www.c20c.com) where I have just purchased a Guy Lefevre coffee table for a client.
Make sure you get the dates for the spring fair in your diary, its on 29 April - 4 May 2014. It is well worth a trip.
